Camp Instructor Summer 2024
Workhouse camp instructors will design learning modules for each age group that build skills over the course of one week. Because some campers have enrolled for multiple weeks, we request two one-week modules with enough differences in outcome or skill to keep campers engaged.
Facilities Manager
The Workhouse Arts Foundation is seeking an adaptable, personable, and repair-oriented candidate to fill the role of Facilities Manager. This role is part-time, and it works closely with all members of the Foundation, as well as with our on-campus artists, visitors, and the Fairfax County Government.

Workhouse Camp Counselors are fun-loving, patient, and genuinely concerned for the development and welfare of the youth in their care.

The Workhouse Arts Center is now accepting applications for Camp Director. The Camp Director is responsible for executing the Workhouse Arts Center’s 2024 Summer Arts Camps.
Teaching Artists for Fall 2023 and Winter 2024
The Workhouse Arts Center is now accepting applications for Teaching Artists, Fall 2023 & Winter 2024! Teaching artists include both professional artists and professional educators. We are looking for artists doing interesting work who are also excellent teachers. Class proposals should meet the following criteria:
1. They instruct on a fine arts medium, visual or performing.
2. They help to fulfill the mission of and fill a need for the Education Department.
3. They teach students how to navigate the creative process.
