Artistic Philosophy

Just as life begins and ends with each passing season, there is an inherent connection between nature and the human life. Without understanding this connection, I am unable to paint. From the young buds that breathe life into leaves to those that have fallen and are rolling gently in the wind, this is the cycle of life. With each small stroke, my brush moves to capture each emotion from my mind. Happiness comes with the transformation of these emotions onto my canvas. Complete satisfaction occurs when these same emotions are felt by others. It's an amazing feat that such small brush strokes elicit ultimate happiness.
