The Internship Experience The Workhouse Art Center is a vibrant and busy environment in a historic setting.  Lorton is located approximately 20 minutes south of Washington DC.  Ad hoc office space will be provided on campus with access to appropriate computer and telephone equipment.  Interns will also be provided with a company email address and be able to participate in multiple events taking place on campus, free of charge, such as Independence Day Celebration and Workhouse BrewFest. Interns work along side industry professionals and have the opportunity to build skills and experience through work on meaningful projects. Internships are unpaid but Workhouse staff actively support the acquisition of academic credit for participants.
