Fireworks at the Workhouse
July 1 @ 5:00 pm - 9:30 pm
ON-CAMPUS PARKING: Parking for Workhouse Fireworks is available on the Workhouse Campus and at the Vulcan Materials lot, $20/car, cash only. All vehicles must enter our campus from our Workhouse Road entrance. For cars heading north on Route 123/Ox Road, turn right onto Workhouse Road and make your first right to enter our campus. Southbound on 123, make a left at Workhouse Road, then your first right. If you are traveling westbound on Workhouse Road, please follow police instruction for the best way to enter our campus.
ALTERNATE PARKING: The Workhouse lot usually fills quickly. If our main lot is full when you arrive, additional parking is available for $20/car at the Vulcan Materials site just south of the Workhouse at 9600 Ox Road. Turn into their driveway (across Route 123/Ox Road from Occoquan Park) and follow the driveway until you see our parking team who will direct you from there. If you park at Vulcan, there will be free shuttle buses operating throughout the evening to bring you to the Workhouse and back to the Vulcan lot after the show.
PLEASE NOTE: Fairfax County Police will be stationed along Route 123/Ox Road and at our entrances/exit to ensure everyone is safe before, during, and after the fireworks show. Please be extra careful while driving to keep these officers safe and be sure to follow their instructions – they’ll be working hard to make sure traffic flows smoothly and we all enjoy this great event.
PETS: We love pets! But tonight’s concert and fireworks show will be extremely loud and the campus very crowded – not the best environment for our furry friends. So it’s best to leave pets at home tonight. Thank you for your understanding.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: As of noon today, July 1, the weather report indicates that while there may be a little rain in the late afternoon, the weather looks very positive for our concert and fireworks show this evening. Please bookmark this page or visit our Facebook page – we’ll update these locations if the weather changes in any way that might impact our fireworks event.
