About the Exhibition
In Body As Metronome, Sara Dittrich examines the unconscious rhythms of the body in an everyday context. She introduces sculptural objects, video installations and performance works as a means to study and address the acts of listening, movement and sound. Metaphorical interpretations of pulse, breath, footsteps and heartbeats are presented in this body of work creating a renewed sense of place and identity. Dittrich embraces these explorations for their simultaneous qualities in contributing to a meditative, experiential space.
