Northern Virginia Bead Society Designer Challenge Exhibition January 6-31

Come to the Workhouse in January and celebrate the month of the bead! With help from our friends at the Northern Virginia Bead Society (NVBS), the Workhouse will offer a series of exciting events.  The NVBS has encouraged members of the community to appreciate and participate in the visual arts through beads since 1992. 

On January 10, a day of bead demos will be featured in Building W-7 from 12-4pm!  The following weekend, The Society of Glass Beadmakers will present lectures, demonstrations and technique sharing, open to anyone interested in glass beads.

Want to get hands on? Come to “Bead Boot Camp” in Building W-7 on Sunday, January 24 from 12 – 5pm, where a variety of demos and mini-workshops will be taking place. A small fee may apply for workshop kits.

Don’t forget the opening reception on Saturday, January 9 from 7-9pm in building W-16.
