Members of WA and WAG are exhibiting a variety of works in Gallery W-16, First Floor February 3 - 28.  An Opening Reception will be held in Gallery W-16 Saturday, March 13 from 6-9pm in conjunction with the 2^nd Saturday Art Walk at the Workhouse. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and learn more about their work.  

Kathleen Gillmann Best is the Featured Associate Artist of the Month for March!  Surrounded by the stunning beauty of coastal and western Maine from her earliest years into her young adulthood, Kathleen Best Gillmann is inspired to paint by the world that she knows so well. As Gillmann finds her voice as an artist, it is not surprising that waterscapes should be the focus of her attention as Featured Associate Artist for March 2010. The marvelous qualities of water, sunlight, and the moods of atmosphere and weather have influenced her since her youth growing up in Maine and summering at her family's cottage on Rangeley Lake. She looks forward to sharing her vision of the glories of the natural world during this exhibit.
