Fiber Arts: Yard Art-Art at the Yard The Workhouse will welcome the New Image Artists in an exhibition of new work entitled Fiber Arts: Yard Art-Art at the Yard June 16-July 18 in Gallery W-16. The artists have each chosen to interpret the theme of "yard art" in individually creative ways. Fiber techniques in the exhibit include hand and machine quilting, hand dyed fabric, collage, batik, photographic techniques, abstract and representational. The group has recently shown exhibitions at The Suffolk Museum, Marymount University and in Tacoma, WA. This will be the first venue for this new work by these talented artists whose work has been nationally and internationally exhibited and collected. The exhibition will be curated by Trudi Van Dyke. Join the artists for an opening reception at the Workhouse on Sunday, June 20 from 2-4pm in Gallery W-16.
