Workhouse Art Guild and Workhouse Artist Association September Exhibition and Artist Reception

Members of the Workhouse Art Guild (WAG) and Workhouse Associates (WA) are exhibiting a variety of works in Gallery W-16, First Floor from September 8 - October 3.  An Opening Reception will be held in Gallery W-16 on Saturday, September 11 from 6-7pm in conjunction with the 2^nd Saturday Art Walk at the Workhouse. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists to learn more about their work.

WAG is open to all, artists and art enthusiasts alike. Artists working in all media, including photography, are welcome to join. There is no jury process to participate; however, artist-members are eligible to participate in the monthly juried show in Gallery W-16. WAG members are invited to serve on committees to promote the exhibition schedule which will include local art organizations, solo artists and invitational exhibitions. 

The Workhouse Artist Association (WAA) is a membership organization consisting of Workhouse Studio Artists and Workhouse Associate Artists. Interested artists must jury through the process accepted by the Lorton Arts Foundation. There are two levels of WAA membership: Associate Member and Studio Member. Associate Members (WA) do not occupy studio space, but enjoy the benefits of belonging to WAA. Studio Members occupy individual or shared studio space and work on site.
