The National Education Association (NEA) created Read Across America Day to motivate and raise awareness for young readers in celebration the birthday of the timeless author, Dr. Seuss. 

The Workhouse Arts Center is proud to host National Education Association’s Read Across America Day on March 1 for the first time ever! Friends and family of all ages are welcome to participate in FREE Guest Book Readings and other fun activities like making your own bookmark.  Read along with us in the W-3 Theatre, and afterwards, get a picture with the Cat in the Hat himself.  Join us for a one-day celebration of reading and the iconic Dr. Seuss! 

Dr. Seuss Mini Camp
