Statement

My interest in figurative painting, poetry and sculpture comes from the observation of the body and using the lines of the body to tell the deeper story of an individual. These subtle movements hidden behind eyes and gestures are the most profound aspects of my dimensional storytelling. Dimensional meaning capturing not only what's on the surface but what is hidden beneath.
In exploring the intuitive sense within, I capture what is unseen. Each subject has a unique story, which evokes
an essence containing the mystery of a truth not known. Most of the time I find that my muse is not conscious of what is being revealed. In this way, my imagination and knowing allows me to see behind the obvious.

Through my use of multiple mediums, I am able to reveal layers of an individual, that they may not have known existed. Each piece is a profound experience utilizing symbols and metaphors to echo the messages I see within each personality. Through this process I try to evoke the magnificence and sometimes frightening truth of what I study in each figure.

Bio

The perception of truth. Constantly searching
for truth as an artist and truth within myself
as an individual. What is my perception of
form? Beauty. Recognizing the unconventional.
An individual. I am inspired.
Through life's truth comes unexpected beauty
in conventional form. The basic truth of life.
The state of being true. The senses
are ignited. An intuitive recognition for the
hidden burden of an individual. Dimensions.
Dimensions within a person. What is hidden
under layers and layers of conformity? I am
inspired. Confessing what has been concealed..
masked for years. Unknowingly guarded through
the conditioning of life. Truth. Exposing the
constant masked by the layers. The walls
built. Tearing down the walls of lies to
expose the true form. Releasing the
undeniable beauty within. Release. The truth
comes out.Realized. The mask is removed.
I am inspired.
