Plein air painting - the joy of painting the great outdoors – the details of nature – chasing the light and shadows on the sidewalk. I'm trying to capture a place in time. I've spent the last 10 years honing my skills as a professional artist, such as, painting, art management, sales, installation, instructing, and marketing.

I have a BS degree in Advertising Design and a minor in Art History from the University of Maryland, College Park. I worked as a professional graphic designer for 20 years. I've continued to do freelance design work and painting classes. I have worked at a variety of ad agencies and corporations. The last 9 years as a graphic designer I spent at the former Bell Atlantic/Verizon Multimedia as a multimedia artist and photoshop expert. I designed and produced web sites, print and advertising campaigns, and multimedia presentations. I'm now home with 2 beautiful children and pursuing my talents as an artist.
