Put on those tap shoes that have been sitting in your closet and head on over to the “Break Out and Tap!” Workshop! This workshop is geared towards beginners and will incorporate both street and Broadway styles of tap. Tap dancing will help you gain flexibility in your ankles, learn how to use your body in new ways, and get you out of your normal routine. So come! Join us August 10th during the Workhouse 2nd Saturday event for the first ever Workhouse Belly Dance “Hafla.” Hafla, is an Arabic word meaning get-together, party, or ceremony. The event will have belly dance and other dance style performances, line dancing, light snacks and end with an open dance floor to practice your belly dance moves.
