VISIT

The Workhouse Arts Center is a beautiful 55 acre cultural center that has been restored from prison origins and revitalized to bring arts, education, history and recreation to the community. We welcome your visit for a family day out, a lunch break, a shopping excursion, a tour, a history session, a cooking lesson, a business outing, a special event, a pilates class, a film study, a school trip ... and everything in between. We are conveniently located on Route 123 just off of I-95, so feel free to just drop in and have a look at this amazing restoration.

You will likely find yourself surprised at the beauty of the buildings, the scope of the offerings and the potential of the project. Enjoy a snack in our cafe in Gallery W-16 including sandwiches and desserts by The Garden Kitchen.
