GUIDED TOURS
The Workhouse Arts Center is comprised of several gallery spaces and artist studio buildings, a 100-seat theater, classrooms and more! Allow a Workhouse Tour Guide to lead you across the campus highlighting the rich history of the Workhouse and showcasing must-see spaces. Guided tours are ideal for groups of 8 or more searching for a personalized look at our facility. All guided tours are free and must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

Groups interested in viewing the Prison Museum must book their visits within the museum’s open hours: Wed-Fri, 12pm-3pm; Sat and Sun, 12pm-4pm.

FIELD TRIPS AT THE WORKHOUSE
A popular destination for school groups and a fun place for students to experience the arts! With a large faculty specializing in diverse art forms, we tailor our programs to match you interests. Field Trips at the Workhouse are perfect for class trips, homeschoolers, Brownies or Scouts, teams or church groups.

Get your hands dirty with ceramic sculpture, abstract painting or mixed media collaging when joining us for a fee-based workshop taught by professional artists and arts educators! Tag along for a 45-minute guided tour of the Workhouse facility, visiting studios and learning all about our rich history.
