Artist Statement Since the time when I could follow my Grandmother around in her garden, selecting flowers to cut, I have had an obsession with flowers.  This grouping reflects that obsession. I challenged my self to created life size replicas of selected flowers using powders and frit. In all but a couple exceptions, I actually worked with live flowers to achieve my ends.
