“Equality for All” by Sunny Mullarkey

The Workhouse Arts Center is thrilled to be the permanent home of Sunny Mullarkey’s tribute to the Women’s Suffrage Movement, “Equality for All.” This monumental mural was commissioned by the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commission (WSCC) to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. The WSCC hired South Carolina-based artist Sunny Mullarkey to create artwork honoring women’s long battle for the ballot and the generations of activists who led the way toward equality.
