Creating canvases horizontally calls for a new perception in the viewer. It is not the traditional shape of a over-the-couch painting. Small thin and long spaces are needed for these paintings. Each painting emphasizes a particular color. Those who view these paintings must overcome their preconceptions on what a painting must be.
