Bill Firestone is a painter and Workhouse artist. Lately Bill has been working in his studio on several large abstract paintings. His goal is to keep things fairly loose and let the paintings go in unplanned directions. But also, he’s trying to incorporate several of the elements that he uses in his teaching. Composition, color mixing, bold color movement, darks and lights. All are acrylic on canvas. Something Blue is 40×60. Colors is 40×30. He has also been finishing up several smaller landscape paintings. Wheatland Road #1 and Wheatland Road #2, both are 11×14. He has a tendency to do these several times, letting each one go in different directions. Click here to learn more about Bill.
