The Workhouse Arts Center believes that an arts education enhances a person’s perceptions and understanding of the world in which we live. Our programs allow students to increase positive attitudes towards self, others, and the environment through creative experiences. The Workhouse provides art instruction that helps develop basic art skills, advance existing skills, encourage visual awareness, and promote intellectual growth and creative self-expression. Students also enjoy social and emotional enrichment through their interaction with fellow artists and students.
