Brief description of the exhibition
The Workhouse Arts Center is proud to present Between the Lines, an exhibition that emphasizes the line, in both objective and abstract artworks. The featured artworks by Workhouse Artists make use of all elements of the line, with varying lengths, widths and to create weight and texture, or the very implication of line in gestures. The exhibition encourages viewers to examine how lines, both visible and invisible, are utilized in each artwork and to read and interpret “between the lines”.
