Workhouse Arts Center is proud to present the Annual Congressional Art Competition, which features the artwork of high school students from within the 11th Congressional District of Virginia. The Annual Congressional Art Competition provides an opportunity for Members of Congress to encourage and recognize the artistic talents of their young constituents. Over 650,000 high school students have participated in the nationwide competition.
The first prize winning artist from this exhibition will have their work displayed in the US Capitol for one year, the second prize winner will have their art exhibited at Workhouse Arts Center for one year, and the third prize winner will have their work exhibited in the offices of Congressman Gerald E. Connolly for one year.
Congressman Gerald E. Connolly’s Annual Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students who reside in Virginia’s 11th Congressional District, including public, private, and home-schooled students. Annual Congressional Art Competition Presented by the 11th Congressional District
