EqualiTEA: Celebrate Your Galentine

Join us for EqualiTEA hosted by the Lorton Prison Museum featuring the Lucy Burns Gallery, a unique program that connects you to the history of the suffrage movement at the Workhouse Arts Center. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, come celebrate the gals who fought for women’s right to vote and those special female friendships in your life at this special Galentine’s Day tea party and tour.

On Saturday, February 7, at 2 PM, enjoy a special tea service provided by tea enthusiast Nancy Rodriguez of Cup & Crown. Learn how suffragists used tea and tea parties for planning and fundraising as you sip a variety of specially selected teas. The program concludes with a guided tour of the museum, featuring the exhibit on the suffragists who were imprisoned at the Workhouse in 1917.

Age Requirement: Participants must be 12 years of age and older.

  • Early Bird: $39 (available before January 22, 2026)

  • Regular: $45 (on sale until Noon on Friday, February 6, 2026)

  • Pastries served contain wheat, dairy, and eggs. We’re unable accommodate dietary substitutions at this time.

  • Decaf and/or herbal tea options will be available.
