Mia’s style is deeply rooted in pop surrealism and fantasy. Her whimsical pieces range from loose lines to a more detailed, resolved look. Mia draws upon her wood finishing background to create most of her paintings using those techniques.

This exhibition is the culmination of Mia’s two-year residency as the Workhouse Military in the Arts Initiative (WMAI) Artist in Residence.
