W-7: “Animal Spirits” by Candi Durusu. July 1- July 31, 2025

Show Dates: July 1 - July 31

Opening Reception Date: July 12, 6-9pm

Masks are ancient devices for representing spirit in form. In the liminal space where neither really exist many seeds come to fruition and life thrives. A mask can be a retreat for safety or a means of trespass to new realms. Glass is the perfect medium for discussing this transgression between forms. It’s solid, then liquid, then solid, then something else. But with adequate planning and understanding, its spirit speaks.
