Cathy Wencel is originally from Pennsylvania and now resides in Fairfax Station, Virginia. She has entered many juried exhibitions and individual shows at libraries, hospitals and outdoor exhibits. She was manager of the Allegheny-Kiski Valley Historical Society Museum and a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists and the Allegheny Valley League of Artists. Cathy became a member of the Arches Gallery in 2025.
