Outreach Activities
Workhouse Arts Center offers scout trips, field trips, and birthday parties as a part of our community outreach programs.
The Workhouse Arts Center believes that connection to the community is essential to any arts center. Through our scout workshops, field trips, and birthday parties, Workhouse provides an opportunity for the young people in our community to enjoy a taste of the arts. Scout troops can come work towards one of many badges in visual, performing, or culinary arts. Local schools, daycares, and summer programs bring students to enrich their own curriculum.
Children can bring their friends for a fun-filled birthday party and leave with an art project and great memories. All of our outreach activity workshops are taught by one of our highly skilled teaching artists with a great amount of experience working with children.
