What is Fall Fest?

Workhouse Fall Fest is a collaborative event with Potomac Music that is a celebration of community and family where nostalgia, music, and art combine to bring back the memories of your youth while creating new memories for all ages. 

Create your own traditions in the pumpkin patch on the historic baseball field, shop local artisans, and experience a classic fall festival with a variety of interactive activities, experiences, food, drinks, and fun. 

What Should I expect?

  • Enjoy some tasty food including fall treats like grilled classics, kettle corn, apple cider donuts, and join in the pie eating contest. Take a stroll amongst local artisans while sipping on some of your favorite fall beverages such as apple cider, hot chocolate, and seasonal adult beverages. 

  • Listen to the sounds of fall with music on the pavilion while artists showcase their skills. 

  • Get up close and watch live molten glass blowing from our Master Gaffer. 

  • Challenge your friends and family to some friendly competition on the Quad with our Field Games or try your luck at some classic fall carnival games. 

  • Take a hayride around the historic campus or visit the pumpkin patch. 

  • Stay late for a viewing of Hocus Pocus on our historic baseball field under the stars, and much more! 

  • Online ticket sales for available packages will end on October 17th at 11:59 PM. Onsite sales are also available all weekend. 

    General admission includes fees to cover hayrides and admission to the movie.

We’re gearing up for an exciting season filled with art, creativity, and plenty of fall fun—and we’d love for you to be part of it! By joining our WAC team, you’ll play an important role in bringing our community events and festivities to life.   • Saturday, October 18th, 11am-6pm Special viewing of Hocus Pocus – 7:00pm-9:00pm

    Sunday, October 19th, 12pm-4pm

  • There is a variety of activities for you and your family at Fall Fest! Such as:

  • The Workhouse Fall Fest is free to attend, however, there is a $10 fee ($5 on Sunday Hayride only) that includes:

    1)      Riding the Hayride around our historic campus to and from the Pumpkin Patch,

    2)      A viewing of Hocus Pocus after dark on our historic baseball field (bring blankets and chairs)

    3)      Refund requests must be submitted in writing no later than 48 hours prior to the event.

  • Yes.  Enjoy some tasty food including fall treats like grilled classics, kettle corn, apple cider donuts, and join in the pie eating contest. 

  • Absolutely! This event is fun for all ages! We’ll have face painting, balloon animals, a costume and a pie eating contest, and our pumpkin patch where you can purchase pumpkins of all sizes.

  • Get up close and watch live molten glass blowing from our Master Gaffer. Or, watch a clay throwing and spinning demonstration. You will also have the chance to paint the very pumpkins you pick from our field.
