Frequently Asked Questions

  • Tickets are being sold online at the link at the top of the page. You may also purchase tickets at the event. Please be advised that prices are higher on the day of the event. Tickets are sold via timed-entry to mitigate long waits in line. Please bring a printed copy of your confirmation page, or have it available to show on your mobile device. Historically, many nights of this popular attraction have reached sold out status, and advanced purchase is highly encouraged.

  • Yes, group discounts are available! Groups of 10 or more will receive a 10% discount, groups of 25 or more will receive a 15% discount, and groups of 50 or more will receive a 20% discount. To purchase tickets for groups, please contact WorkhouseHaunt@WorkhouseArts.org for assistance with your order.

Please note that we are staggering dispatch timing to enter the attraction, and larger groups may be broken into smaller groups and dispatched separately for you to best enjoy the attraction as it is designed. Please contact us with any questions regarding larger groups.

  • All tickets will be sold with a timed-entry in 15 minute increments. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your selected entry time to check-in and receive your dispatch group number. While waiting, there will be music, concessions and beverages available for sale at the Haunt Bar.

  • If there is a light/mild rain, this attraction will likely still operate. If there is heavy rain or severe weather, it may not run (or may have partial hours). Please watch our website for any inclement weather updates. If you have already purchased tickets, and the weather causes a full cancellation, you will be contacted via email for options for your tickets.

  • This fundraising event is following a no-refund policy, if the buyer cancels. If you are unable to attend, you may:

    • Gift your ticket to a friend/neighbor to use

    • Convert the cost of your ticket to a tax-deductible donation

If the Workhouse cancels an evening of the event for any reason, including weather related closure, you will be contacted by email within 48 hours about refund or re-schedule options.

  • Our team will do our best to accommodate your ticket for a later slot that same night but cannot guarantee entry if we are sold to capacity or if the timeline is running slower than anticipated. If you are only a few minutes late, the best advice would be to check-in as soon as you arrive.

  • This is an outdoor walk-through attraction over a variety of terrain (e.g., paved surfaces, grassy areas, and mulched pathways), comfortable shoes are highly recommended. The attraction is wheelchair accessible.

  • Restrooms will be available in Building W-16, where our Haunt Pop-Up Shop will be located.

  • The Workhouse Haunt Bar will feature three themed specialty cocktails and a selection of beer, wine, snacks, and soft drinks. The food truck schedule will be posted on our ticketing page as vendors are confirmed. No outside food or drink are permitted at the event.

  • In order to keep the attraction spoiler-free, guests will be restricted from accessing some areas of the campus.

  • For safety reasons, we do not allow guests to wear costumes, scary make-up or full-face masks when experiencing the attraction. While medical-style masks that cover nose and mouth are no longer a requirement, guests that prefer to wear this style of mask at events will be permitted to do so.

  • While you will know your children best, this experience is not recommended for youth under the age of 13.

  • No and no. The safety of our guests and our actors is our number one concern for all events at Workhouse Arts Center. Guests that do not comply with rules may be asked to leave without refund.

  • Due to the unique nature of this event, pets are not permitted on campus during event hours for their own safety and comfort. The activity on the Quad can get quite loud, and there are unexpected scares everywhere on campus during event nights. Service dogs are welcome on campus at any time, of course.
