Our hours of operation during Virginia Forward Phase II are:
Friday – Sunday Noon to 5:00 p.m.
The Lucy Burns Museum is open Saturday Noon to 5:00 p.m.
The Workhouse Arts Center is located at:
9518 Workhouse Way
Lorton, VA 22079
There’s plenty of parking available at the Workhouse Arts Center, with open-air parking lots located at both the north and south ends of campus. Parking is generally free, though for certain events such as Fireworks or other special events, there may be a fee for parking.
Our goal is to ensure that our facilities, to the greatest extent possible, are accessible to all visitors to the Workhouse. Service animals are welcome across our entire campus, in the theater, studios, galleries, and museum. For visitors to our main building, W-16, an elevator is located inside, through the Vulcan Gallery at the rear of the building. Presently, all other campus buildings are only one floor.
If you have questions about accessibility at the Workhouse or suggestions for how we can better serve the public, please contact us at 703-584-2900.
