What Endures brings together abstracted trees, mountains, and flowers in a reflection on memory, resilience, and the ways of seeing passed from one generation to the next. Through richly layered surfaces and expressive forms, Lynn Goldstein draws upon her deep connection to the natural world. Mountains hold their shape, trees weather change and regrow, and flowers, though fleeting, remain with us through memory and association. Throughout the exhibition, natural forms become more than subjects. They offer places of refuge and belonging while inviting viewers to consider what survives change, what is passed forward, and what quietly endures within us.
Virginia artist Lynn Goldstein creates landscapes that offer quiet and refuge. Her work has been exhibited at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington National Cathedral, and New York’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and is held in public and private collections in the United States and abroad.
