Calling all seafaring adventurers, pirates, and merfolk to seek out the miracles of the deep blue ocean. Our adventure takes us through the fanatical depths of the ocean, exploring all the beauty nature has to offer. The beauty of whales, dolphins, and other gentle giants of the sea meet the ships of exploration, and the mermaids whose songs have captivated men for ages. Our adventure is never ending, and we will continue to capture all of natures beauty and power, wherever it may dwell.
Mia Klavon is a native of Michigan and a graduate of the Kendall College of Art and Design and Eastern Michigan University. After serving roughly 6 years in the Army, she worked several metal and woodworking jobs before pursuing art as a full time career in 2018. As a child, Mia loved mermaids and competitive swimming, but fell in love with the ocean after living on the coast as an adult. She has dedicated her artwork to bringing the beauty of the sea to everyone and sharing her passion for better marine life conservation. Mia currently lives in Lorton, VA with her partner and 3 cats.
Mia’s style is deeply rooted in pop surrealism and fantasy. Her whimsical pieces range from loose lines to a more detailed, resolved look. Mia draws upon her wood finishing background to create most of her paintings using those techniques.
