LORTON, VA (February 18, 2026) — For the first time in its history, the Workhouse Arts Center will host an event of this magnitude — and it’s arriving with a bold promise: bigger, louder, and more immersive than anything the region has seen before.

ComicWorx, the most extensive comic and pop culture experience ever staged at the Workhouse Arts Center, will debut Saturday, March 7, 2026, transforming the historic campus into a vibrant hub of creativity, cosplay, fandom, creators, and collectors.

Headlining the event is celebrated voice acting legend John Swasey, whose iconic roles span global anime phenomena, including:

  • Attack on Titan

  • Fullmetal Alchemist

  • My Hero Academia

  • One Piece

Swasey’s career launched in 1997 with ADV Films, and he has since become one of the most prolific and recognizable voices in anime. His hundreds of roles include All for One (My Hero Academia), Sir Crocodile (One Piece), Lord Death (Soul Eater), Hohenheim (Fullmetal Alchemist), and Zachary (Attack on Titan). His work spans major studios, including Funimation & Sentai Filmworks, as well as video games such as Borderlands 2.
