Workhouse Arts Center Announces Return of Northern Virginia’s Largest Fireworks Festival on June 28, 2025
Free community celebration features live music, carnival games, art-themed mini golf, dunk tank, food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks finale
LORTON, VA (May 14, 2025) – The Workhouse Arts Center will host its annual Workhouse Fireworks Festival on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on its 55-acre historic campus in Lorton, Virginia. Drawing thousands each year, this family-friendly celebration features live music, interactive activities for children and adults, a variety of food and beverage options, and one of the most spectacular fireworks shows in Northern Virginia.
Headlining the main stage will be The Outer Loop, a high-energy Fairfax County group performing hits from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, with a soulful, danceable mix of Motown classics and today’s top hits. Additionally, local DJs will keep the energy high throughout the evening with vibrant mixes and non-stop beats. The festival also includes a carnival-style midway, Workhouse Fun Zones, and the newly debuted Workhouse Masterpiece Mini-Golf course—an 18-hole art-themed experience. Guests can enjoy festive fare from local food trucks, the Workhouse Grill, Bunnyman Brewing, and mobile hawkers serving treats throughout the campus.
“We’re throwing the biggest summer bash in Northern Virginia, and I can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the Workhouse!” said Keith Gordon, President & CEO of the Workhouse Arts Center. “We’ve got music, games, art, fireworks—and yes, I’ll be in the dunk tank!”
